The East & South East Asia and Oceania Region (ESEAOR), one of the 6 Regions of IPPF, plays a key role promoting sexual and reproductive health and rights, including family planning, through its network of member associations and collaborating partners in 26 countries and their associated local volunteers, who are the backbone of service implementation.

IPPF-ESEAOR is seeking a dynamic and motivated individual to be based at our Regional Office in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia for the position:

Key Responsibilities:

Responsible for, coordinate and support IPPF ESEAOR’s strategy on Sexual & SRHR especially related to HIV and AIDS in the RegionBuild relationships and collaborate with regional actors, external organizations and networks working on SRHR and HIV and AIDS in the RegionTo assist in the development of funding proposals to ensure sustainability of priority SRHR and HIV related programs and projectsBe responsible as Country Desk Officer for Member Associations as designated Assist in the development of funding proposals to ensure sustainability of priority SRHR related programs and projectsSelection Criteria:

Degree in Social Science or equivalent standard of education3 years working experience in similar positionManaging and/or implementing HIV and/or health/development related projects at national or regional level Proven experience and ability in managing partnershipsGood understanding of the HIV epidemic and SRH issues in the regionFluent in English and other language(s) spoken in ESEAORGood IT skills – ability to use MS Office Awareness of and sensitivity to the multi-cultural environment in which IPPF operatesExcellent communication skills, verbal and writtenGood organisational skills necessary to multi task and meet tight deadlines Good research, analysing and report writing skillsRights-based and gender-sensitive perspectiveDetailed job description can be provided upon request via email at: jobs@ippfeseaor.org

Salary is negotiable based on experience and qualifications.
